School Communication

Our school apps are our main method of communication with parent(s) / guardian(s).

Our school currently uses Aladdin to ensure that you as the parent/guardian are up to date on all activities concerning your child including classroom activities, sports, music or other after school events and also that you are kept up to date of changes to school day such as external trips, school closures etc.

ALADDIN CONNECT

Our school has launched Aladdin Connect, which is a brilliant way for you to stay connected with our school.  We are pushing to reduce our use of paper while improving communications.  With Aladdin Connect you can

  • Receive push notifications about school events, school closures etc.
  • Keep track of attendances and give reasons for absences
  • Keep your contact details up to date
  • Give consent (sign digital permission slips) for school activities
  • View all school reports held by our school (we will not be issuing paper copies)

There are other benefits of Aladdin Connect which we are looking at developing over time.  If you have not registered with Aladdin Connect, please contact the school to arrange it.  This App will be our primary mode of communicating with our parents/guardians from now on.

TWITTER @MonaleenNS

We have a school Twitter account which can be viewed from the News section of the website. Here you will find information on classroom activities, school events and achievements.

Evan Loftus and his management team has released their Limerick U20 Hurling team and match panel that will take on Clare in round 1 of the http://oneill.com Munster U20 Hurling Championship at 7pm this Friday evening in Sixmilebridge

What an achievement for lots of our boys to play in Croke Park. We can’t wait to hear all about it in Monaleen National School after the holidays 🐣

A talented group of our U12 Footballers playing in Croke Park 2016. 4 feature in Limerick teams today. Conall Ó Dúinn, Darragh Murray & Darragh Clifford (U20 Football) & Darragh Langan (NHL Semi-Final). And if that wasn’t enough, we’ve our U20s Six Nations Captain Evan O'Connell

These two superstars will be lining out in the green and white as part of the primary game camogie and hurling squads. This is a massive achievement and we look forward to cheering them on at half time in the championship games ahead. Well done Keelin & Bobby!
